Privacy Policy

nmtoftlbs.org converts torque and force units. It needs almost no data from you, and this page sets out what little there is.
The essentials
Each conversion is computed in your browser, on your device. The figures you enter never leave it, there is no account, and once you close the page nothing about the session remains with us.
Server logs
The host keeps the usual request record: an IP address, the page and time, the browser's user-agent, and any referring page. We use it to keep the site up and to spot abuse, it is not linked to a name, and it is discarded within about a month.
Cookies and analytics
The tool works with cookies fully disabled. Anything we set would only keep the page working or store a preference, and if we measure traffic it is by totals, not by following individuals.
Ads
No third-party ads are here now. If any arrive later, they may set their own cookies, so we will identify them and link their policies beforehand.
Your rights
You are free to decline non-essential cookies. Where the GDPR, CCPA or similar laws apply you may request what personal data we hold and its deletion; we keep no profiles, so there is usually nothing to send, but do ask.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and kept patched. Security is never absolute, but there is little of value stored here to begin with.
Children
This is a general-audience tool, not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
Revisions appear here with a fresh date, and anything significant will be stated openly.
